The Little Big Doubts

THE LITTLE BIG DOUBTS

Vidyasagar Mundroy

Somebody said "Begin with doubts and you end with certainties".

But, no doubt it's uncertain whether or not I can find answers

To the number of questions restless in the recesses of my mind.

Yet, let me pour them out first, lest they eat me like acid.

To marry or not to marry? That is a question.

Why live and what for? That is another question.

Who am I and why am I here? That is one more question.

What is everything and why does it exist? That is yet another question.

Thought for days till there is no place for thoughts.

Read thousands of pages till there are no more pages left.

Asked friends and monks, but no help forthcoming.

They remained bitter riddles unsolved forever.

Man is born, forcibly, without his consent, probably

To serve the selfish interests of his creators

Who can't even control their own creations

Leave it to Him when asked for their actions.

You, me and everybody in the world knows

That one thing that's certain in the Life is its end.

Ages elapsed, yet man is denied the knowledge.

No option but live for ourselves and for others!
